Arcadia, written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Artistic Director Marti Lyons, is part of Remy Bumppo Theatre Company's Readings on Ravenswood series, now in its third year. The play moves between 1809 and the present, exploring the nature of truth and time, the difference between classical and romantic temperaments, and the disruptive influence of sex on our life orbits. The reading takes place at Remy Bumppo's rehearsal space at 1751 W. Grace, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the reading beginning at 7 p.m. The series continues through June 15 on Monday nights and includes post-reading conversations that reflect the themes of the plays.
