TodayTix has just launched its Next Generation Series, a first-of-its-kind program bringing together a multidisciplinary ensemble of students to create a piece of theater in 24 hours.

Kicking off first in Chicago with plans to expand across the nation, this program extends on TodayTix's mission to make theater more accessible to everyone, especially millennials.

Next Generation Series 24-Hour Theater Festival:

- Throughout their 24 hour creation process, each of the 8 participating students will be visited and mentored by a bevy of Chicago theater professionals (including Darling Shear, Samantha Beach, Caroline Miller and others) to help guide them along the way.

- Students hail from Northwestern University, Roosevelt University, DePaul University, and North Central College.

- At the end of the 24 hours, they'll perform the piece they created at Greenhouse Theater Center on April 9, 2017.

- Tickets for the event are $10 via TodayTix and all proceeds will go to Center on Halsted (www.centeronhalsted.org), the beneficiary chosen by the students.
