Dear Friends,We are thrilled to share some exciting news.This morning in New York, the nominations for the American Theatre Wing's 2008 Tony Awards were announced. These awards honor artists and productions currently on Broadway (including our hometown colleague, Steppenwolf Theatre Company). Together with these nominations, it was announced that Chicago Shakespeare Theater will receive the 2008 Regional Theatre Tony Award, honoring continued excellence in artistic achievement. The ceremony will be held on June 15 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.This recognition is a great honor for the Theater—one that belongs to the talented artists who work on our stages, CST's Board of Directors, supportive community leaders, generous contributors and our loyal subscribers and audience members.Thank you for your enthusiasm and support.
