RIVENDELL THEATRE ENSEMBLE PRESENTS THE
MIDWEST PREMIERE OF
PSALMS OF A QUESTIONABLE NATURE

Chicago Playwright Marisa Wegrzyn's Taut Tale of Two Sisters

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble is proud to present the Midwest premiere of Chicago playwright Marisa Wegrzyn's Psalms of a Questionable Nature running May 28 through June 29 at Live Bait Theater, 3914 North Clark St. Previews begin Wednesday, May 28.   There is a champagne reception immediately following the Press Night performance. Single tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at www.rivendelltheatre.net or at 773.334.7728.

Estranged stepsisters Greta and Moo meet to decide what to do with their dead parents' decrepit house; Greta, who needs the money, wants to sell the house, and Moo wants to use the opportunity to get to know her sibling. The one thing they can agree on is that neither of them want to face what's beyond the basement door.  In this twisted, psychological two-women thriller, the sisters not only have to deal with their parents passing and their own feelings towards each other but also confront long buried truths and lies, deeply suppressed emotions and ultimately the realization that they may not make it out of the basement alive.

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble has been working with local playwright Marisa Wegrzyn on this production for more than a year via their Fresh Produce series.
