Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s sell-out production of AMERICAN BUFFALO will add an additional four weeks of performances, extending through April 17, 2016. The company also welcomes Mark Vallarta to the cast in the role of Teach beginning March 24, 2016. Vallarta previously appeared in Mary-Arrchie's productions Geography Of A Horse Dreamer and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. The gripping and often hilarious drama AMERICAN BUFFALO by David Mamet, directed by Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, marks Mary-Arrchie's final production before closing its doors for good after 30 seasons and over 100 productions. Tickets for all performances are currently available at www.maryarrchie.com, by calling (773) 871-0442 or in person at the box office.

The cast of the Jeff Award Recommended production includes Richard Cotovsky, Spenser Davis, Stephen Walker (through March 20, 2016) and Mark Vallarta (March 24 - April 17, 2016).

You make your own right and wrong. During a single day in an unremarkable junk shop on a nondescript street in Chicago in the mid-'70s, three small-time would-be crooks scramble to pull off a fast heist for easy money. As they plan the unlikely caper, an increasing tension between them tests their friendship and threatens to shatter everything they fight for. Hilarious and appalling, this brute race for a lowlife version of the American dream is brilliantly syncopated by Mamet's rapid-fire two-bit bum's lingo.

The production team for AMERICAN BUFFALO includes: John Holt (scenic design), Sarah Jo White (costume design), Claire Sangster (lighting design), Joe Court (sound design), Little Howlin' Wolf (original music), David Woolley (fight design), Michael J. Sanow (technical director) and Rick Keeley (stage manager).
