Candy Land Gala to Raise Funds for Sick Children, 6/10

Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation invites guests to a delectable evening of treats at its Candy Land Gala annual black-tie benefit on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel (1 West Wacker Drive). This year's event, once again emceed by WMAQ TV's Natalie Martinez, will honor the courageous kids, and dedicated donors and contributors involved in Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. All proceeds from the Candy Land Gala will help improve the lives of seriously ill children and those who love them.
The Candy Land Gala begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, hors d'oeuvres and a Silent Auction where guests can bid on an assortment of items including alluring adventures, vacation getaways, fine jewelry, dining and entertainment packages, and one-of-a-kind opportunities with a cherry on top! Before dinner, guests will follow Candy Land's rainbow path to the "Gingerbread Giving Tree" where they'll have the chance to sponsor any number of Starlight's programs. At 7:30 p.m., dinner will be served in the Grand Ballroom. During the Live Auction following dinner, guests will have the opportunity to bid on an array of fashionable finds, exciting adventures and more. The icing on the cake is when the evening continues with musical entertainment by the Bill Pollack Orchestra and dancing into the wee hours of the morning. Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation is a non-profit organization that offers a diverse blend of programs and services for seriously ill children and their families. Starlight supports kids for as long as they need us throughout their childhood and illness.
