A world premiere by WNC playwright Audrey Kopp, set during the French Revolution, this swashbuckling tale follows a secret society that saves innocent lives from the guillotine. The production is directed by veteran fight choreographer David Doersch and reframes the classic Scarlet Pimpernel story through its female characters, led by Marguerite Blakeney. The cast also includes fencing master Jean Sebastian Guillame, his wife Edeltraud Guillame, and young ward Alexandrea Blakeney. The show features extensive sword fighting, quarter staff battles, and dance numbers presented on Montford Park Players' multi-level outdoor stage.
