It is March and five bus passengers are stranded in the middle of the night at a diner, 25 miles west of Kansas City, Missouri. Among the passengers is Cherie, a young night club singer trying to avoid the advances of Bo, a brash young cowboy that has decided he is going to marry Cherie and take her home to his ranch in Montana.
