Theatre Charlotte Hosts ANNIE Auditions 7/27-28

To audition, please prepare 16 bars of a song and bring the sheet music. Come dressed comfortably for movement audition. Everyone in the cast must be able to sing, act and move well.

We are seeking the following:

Annie able to play age 11; spunky; able to belt out a song and dance well.

Warbucks middle age; willing to shave head or cut hair very short for bald cap;
Strong singer and actor who can move well

Grace Farrell late 20s to mid 30s; vivacious, efficient, secretary to Warbucks; strong soprano and actor
who can move well.

Miss Hannigan early 30s to early 50s; gruff, crude, boozy; strong comedic actor who can belt and is a good dancer.

Rooster early 30s to mid 40s; thug who thinks he's cool; strong actor; must sing and dance well.

Lily St. Regis late 20s to late 30s; stereotypical "blonde"; not bright; strong actor who sings and dances well.

Franklin Roosevelt mid 50s; larger than life; FDR-President of the United States; strong
actor with lots of charisma

Orphan girls diverse group of girls, able to play ages 6 to 14; must be able to act, sing
and move well.

Sandy Well-trained, sandy-colored dog who loves children, is not afraid of crowds; able to come to scheduled rehearsals

Drake mid 30s to late 50s; butler to Warbucks; quite proper, but likeable; strong
actor who can sing and move well.

Ensemble approximately 12 men and boys and 12 women and girls (of all ages-minimum age 9 to early 60s) who can sing, dance and act, to play multiple roles-this is a great ensemble show with many good parts.
