Davidson College Hosts Auditions for KOKORO 12/2
The Davidson College Theatre Department is holding auditions for its spring Second Stage production of Velina Hasu Houston's Kokoro (True Heart) for the lead female role, and is seeking an Asian or Asian-American actress (can be age 18-35).
While the role is unpaid, a small stipend may be available to help cover the cost of transportation. Performance dates are February 16-20, 2011 in The Barber Theatre on the Davidson College campus. The production is directed by Tamara Ruppart '00. Rehearsals begin January 12. Contact Carrie Van Hallgren at cavanhallgren@davidson.edu to set-up an audition time or for additional information. No monologue necessary. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
