Comedian Josh Gondelman returns to DSI Comedy Theater for a two-night run at DSI Comedy Theater with Philadelphia comedian Chip Chantry on a stop on their School's Out for Summer Tour. They have two 9 p.m. sets on Thursday August 2nd and Friday, August 3. Tickets cost $12 and are available online at www.DSIComedy.com. DSI Comedy Theater is located at 200 N. Greensboro Street, located in the Carr Mill Mall between Elmo's and Southern Rail.

Josh Gondelman is a writer and comedian who began in Boston before moving to New York City. He uses his years of experience as a preschool teacher and his genuine down-to-earth good guy personality to spin stories that leave audiences in hysterics and are filled with sharp, pointed, and witty observations of the world around him. Gondelman is a comedian who can make comedy bits out of everything from gansta rap to rainbows.

In 2010, Josh traveled to Atlanta for the inaugural Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, where he won first prize. Since then he has become an in-demand performer on a national scale. He has performed at the Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, CO, and headlined at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival in Asheville, NC. More recently he has appeared in the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest. He also appeared G4's "Attack of the Show" and MTV's "Rooftop on the Road." His first CD, "Everything's The Best" was released in November of 2011 by Rooftop Comedy Productions.

"Josh is an incredibly talented comedian and all around nice guy. Audiences were in hysterics after his multiple performances at last year's North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival," said DSI Executive Producer Zach Ward. "We pride ourselves in bringing the best rising comics to the region and we think audiences will be thrilled that they had the chance to see Josh before he starts selling out 500 seat theaters."

Chip Chantry has been a Philadelphia-based comedian since 2003. He has performed for crowds in theaters and clubs across the country. A regular at Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, he is a three-time finalist in their annual Philly's Phunniest Competition. He has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing and the local DigPhilly NBC TV. In 2010, he was a featured performer at the Boston Improv Comedy Festival. Besides stand up, he co-created and hosted the live monthly game show, The Wheel of Terrific at the Trocodero. Currently, he produces and hosts two monthly comedy variety shows, CHIP CHANTRY'S ONE-MAN SHOW (w/ special guests!) at the Shubin Theatre, and Face Time w/ Chip Chantry, a late-night talk show format at Helium. As a writer, he is a regular contributor to a number of comedy blogs and has written/ performed sketches for live shows such as POP! and Bedtime Stories.
