CAST (Carolina Actors Studio Theatre) announces that POPCORN has been pulled by Dramatist Play Service from our season. A Broadway producing entity now has the rights (at least we know how to pick good ones!).

But we are extremely excited to announce that A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE by Martin McDonagh will be the show in the March slot. Directed by Paige Johnston Thomas.

Scripts will be available to be picked up starting this Saturday at CAST.
Auditions will now be on SATURDAY, DEC. 11th in the afternoon.

A Behanding in Spokane:
The title is just the starting point; take a man searching for his missing hand, two con artists out to make a few hundred bucks, and an overly curious hotel clerk, and the rest is up for grabs. A Behanding in Spokane is Martin McDonagh's hilarious black comedy, and is McDonagh's first American-set play.

Carmichael: CaucasIan Male, age 40's-60yrs old, creepy, interesting, is on a mission to find his hand
Mervyn: role already cast
Toby: African American man, age 20's - 40's, appears tough, but can cry like a baby, boyfriend of Marilyn, a con artist, and weed dealer
Marilyn: Caucasian female, 20's - 30's, girlfriend of Toby, weed dealer, can be ditsy and then quite bright.

After you have read the script, if you would like to request an audition time, you may email:
