This virtual play was adapted by Diane Crews, from the radio play by Sandra Fenichel Asher, inspired by the English fairy tale "Cap O'RushesOnce there was a rich and powerful King who lived in a huge castle with his three daughters. His youngest daughter had a dog named Fidelio. At sunset everyday the King stood proudly on the balcony to watch his obedient subjects stream into the courtyard, bow low, and proclaim their allegiance. Alas, this was not a happy kingdom. Can the vain King change his ways? Is there a hero who can help make that happen? This story proves heroes come in all shapes and sizes.
