An evening of powerful, provocative theatre created by incarcerated writers, presented by Nylon Fusion Theatre Company in collaboration with Pioneer Playhouse. The festival features a special performance of Sentenced To A Life Without Music by William Smitherman, starring Andrew Phillips, a Voices Inside playwright recently released from incarceration. The program, now in its 17th year, also showcases works by PEN Prison Writing Award winners Jeanne A. Bossier, Alex Friedmann, and Matthew Mendoza, alongside plays by David Ferguson, Jesse Mosley Jr., Vuall Uvall, and William Smitherman. The evening reveals the humor, imagination, conflict, and humanity behind incarcerated individuals' stories.
