The award-winning Toronto-based Cantala Choir presents Songbird, a breathtaking musical performance featuring Asal Iranmehr on piano. Under the brilliant direction of conductor Nancy Singla, Cantala Choir promises a memorable evening that celebrates the power and beauty of choral music. Known for its vibrant performances of diverse choral music from various eras, Songbird will showcase Selections from Lost Words with poetry by Robert Macfarlane, Five Shakespeare Songs by Bev Lewis, and works by Ola Geilo, Samuel Barber, and Irving Berlin, among others.
