Children's Orchestra Society's Annual Discovery concert features the winner of the 2019 Senior Discovery competition, contrabass Darren Yang, distinguished guest artist virtuoso violinist Ray Chen, with Principal Conductor, and Artistic/Music Director Michael Dadap. This year, in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, members of all COS orchestras will be playing the overture from Rossinis Barber of Seville and the world premiere of Gutierrezs Still Playing. Alumni will join the Young Symphonic Ensemble in Rimsky-Korsakovs Scheherazade.
