This feel-good musical comedy smash will have you jumping to your feet! Featuring original music by Tony and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical has delivered joy to audiences from Broadway to Beirut! When lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she wont be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, the Vegas diva finds herself at odds with a starched Mother Superior, but using her dance moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the community and herself as well. Filled with rock, pop and powerful gospel music, SISTER ACT is a sparkling tribute to the power of friendship giving us all a reason to rejoice!
