When a disco diva is forced into hiding in a convent, she finds herself at odds with the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, she breathes new life into the church and community. Based on the hit 1992 film, Sister Act features Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Glenn Slater, and Book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane. The production is filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a moving story.
