Commotion Dance Theater presents six new dances that include live music, theater, and poetry. Ruben T. Ornelas will offer solos and duets to music by contemporary composers, performed by musicians Kevin Wang, Cynthia Qiyue He, and Esther Rogers Baker. Laurie MacFarlane will present “Like White Hair,” a solo set to a poem by Bob Hart, and “Lost and Found,” a dance-theater quartet of laughter and darkness. Performers include Laura D’Amico, Nanako Horikawa Mandrino, Nico Malijan, Matt McClure, Joanna Rodriguez, Donetta Tchoroleev and Ishmael Walker.
