Nickel City Opera presents A Candle Opera Concert on June 13, 2026 at 7pm at Canterbury Woods Performing Arts Center in Williamsville, NY. The production features a 15-piece orchestra conducted by Maestro Jason Tramm, with bass-baritone and NCO Founder Valerian Ruminski, tenor Eric Fennell, and sopranos Kristin Sampson and Shirley (XiaoLing) Wang. The program includes beloved operatic moments such as Puccini's Nessun Dorma from Turandot, Una Furtiva Lagrima from The Elixir of Love, and The Consecration Scene from Aida, along with symphonic interludes by Mascagni and Rossini. The venue will be transformed by the warm glow of over a thousand flameless LED candles for the performance.
