Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and the unforgettable songs of the disco era take center stage in a side-splitting homage to classic 1970s disaster films. Riverdale Repertory Company proudly presents the first post-Broadway New York City production of DISASTER! for four performances only:

Performances will be held at the Riverdale YM-YWHA, located at 5625 Arlington Avenue (just off of Riverdale Avenue and West 256th Street), in Riverdale, Bronx, NY.

Advance tickets are $12 (students/seniors) and $20 (adults) and may be purchased by calling Brown Paper Tickets at 1-800-838.3006 or online at www.riverdaley.org/boxoffice. Day-of-show tickets may be purchased at the door prior to showtime for $14 (students and seniors) and $22 (adults).

To the tune of nearly three dozen of the Me Decade's biggest pop hits, including "Hot Stuff," "I Am Woman," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "I Will Survive," and many more, DISASTER! exuberantly pokes fun at 70s cult films like The Poseidon Adventure, Airport 1975, and The Towering Inferno. DISASTER! was written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick based on a concept by Rudetsky and Drew Geraci, who also contributed additional material.

DISASTER! played three successful Off-Broadway runs, and its 2016 Tony-nominated run on Broadway was praised as a New York Times Critic's Pick. Time Out New York gave the show five stars out of five, and said "I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud at the theater as often as I did at DISASTER!"
