Broadway Alumni Join Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre's 65th Anniversary Season

Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre has announced its 65th anniversary season, featuring Broadway alumni in productions of ANNIE, 1776, INTO THE WOODS, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and more at its Missouri stage.

ANNIE

June 5–14

The season begins with Annie on the Lyceum stage. Angie Schworer will star as Miss Hannigan, with Erick Pinnick as Warbucks and Conner Gillooly as Rooster. The production is directed by Stephen Santa.

1776

June 26–July 5

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, 1776 will take the stage. The cast will feature Bill English as John Adams, Jonathan Hadley as John Dickinson, and Timothy Shew as Stephen Hopkins. The production is directed by Peter Reynolds.

INTO THE WOODS

July 17–26

Into the Woods will bring a world of magic, mystery, and unexpected twists to the stage. Natascia Diaz will appear as the Witch, with Jane Brockman as Jack’s Mother and Will Blum as the Baker. The production is directed by Michael Lluberes.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS

August 14–23

Steel Magnolias will offer a story of friendship, resilience, and the strength of Southern women. Carey Van Driest will star as M’Lynn, with Mary Mattison as Shelby. The production is directed by Robyne Parrish.

THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS: THE MUSICAL

September 4–13

The Musical of Musicals: The Musical presents five musicals for the price of one, reimagining a single storyline in the styles of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Kander & Ebb. Markia Nicole Smith will appear as the Narrator. The production is directed by Tim Seib.

AND THEN THERE WERE NONE

September 25–October 4

Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None will close the summer season. The production will feature Joshua Morgan as Doctor Armstrong and is directed by Robyne Parrish.

The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), professional theater located in the historic 19th-century village of Arrow Rock, Missouri. The Lyceum has been entertaining audiences for more than six decades, producing musicals, dramas, and comedies. Each year, this 416-seat theater attracts professional actors, designers, stage managers, directors, and technicians who take residence in Arrow Rock to bring patrons Broadway-caliber productions.

The Lyceum Theatre is affiliated with Actors' Equity Association, the Union for Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States, and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. Casting is by  Karie Koppel Casting.
