The YMCA Camp Sloper day camp program serves over 2,500 campers each summer, roughly 600+ campers per day. The program and facility are broken down into two program areas: the East Coast for younger campers in grades K-5 and the West Coast for older campers in grades 6-9. A Counselors-In-Training program is offered for those entering grade 10. Each coast has specifically trained staff members, activities and facilities designed to meet the needs of that particular age group. We feel this is an important and effective way to best serve the large variety of age groups and interests of campers who attend YMCA Camp Sloper throughout the summer.
