YMCA Camp Sloper

YMCA Camp Sloper Outdoor Center in Southington, Connecticut is a day camp run by the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs. The 2026 season, its 77th, runs from mid-June through late August in themed two-week sessions, plus a Preview Week, a Finale Week and new Sneak Peek days in June. Programming is divided by age: the Wanderers pre-K program, traditional camps for kindergarten through 9th grade, East and West Coast specialty camps, and a four-week Counselors in Training program for rising 10th graders. New for 2026 are hourly before- and after-care options, a new health center with a sensory room, an expanded camp office and a three-part zipline course over 400 feet long. The camp also runs birthday parties, school trips, teambuilding, facility rentals and April vacation camp.

Serves Pre-K through 10th grade. Sessions are two weeks; single weeks can be arranged after registration for a $30 split-session fee (traditional camps only). Before care from 7:00 or 8:00 am and after care to 4:00, 5:00 or 6:00 pm are available as hourly add-ons.
