Summer Explorations

Summer Explorations is the summer day camp of The Elisabeth Morrow School, an independent school in Englewood, New Jersey. The coeducational program serves children from age 2 through grade 9 on a 14-acre wooded campus that is a certified wildlife habitat. Campers choose from innovative classes and workshops in science, art, technology, drama and sports, with age-appropriate teacher-to-student ratios and instruction led by experienced certified educators. The Early Childhood Program for age 2 through grade 1 is classroom-based with theme weeks and play, students entering grades 2-6 customize their week from a menu of enrichment workshops, and students in grades 7-9 can enroll in a three-week Leaders in Training course. Half- and full-day options and after-camp care are available, and campers come from more than 30 towns across northern New Jersey and New York.

Serves age 2 through grade 9. Half day 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. or full day 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m., with after-camp care 3:15-5:30 p.m. Early Childhood Program covers age 2-grade 1; weekly enrichment workshops are offered for grades 2-6; grades 7-9 take a three-week Leaders in Training leadership course. Counselors ages 16-22 assist certified teachers. Accredited by the American Camp Association.
