HCCT is presenting the classic western firecracker of a musical for their hill country audience this month.  DESTRY RIDES AGAIN is based on the story by Max Brand, and became a book written by Leonard Gershe.

Following Young People's Theatre's (YPT's) wonderfully successful first foray into Online Summer Drama Camp, the Drama School returns this fall with more virtual drama. Led by an experienced faculty of professional artist educators, online classes are available for JK-Gr. 12, both on weekends and after-school, beginning Oct. 13. YPT has adapted its historic theatre with newly converted live-stream studios where many of its drama classes will be broadcast live.

Washington Little Theater Co. has pushed back its Summer Drama Camp.

In light of ongoing developments resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alliance Theatre has made the decision to continue all its summer camps virtually. Camps are offered each week from May 26 - August 7 for ages 3 through grade 12.

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) celebrates its 60th birthday on Saturday, February 8 at 8 pm with Broadway Inside Out, a thrilling evening of gender-swapped songs from Broadway musicals directed by Executive Artistic Director Marilyn Langbehn, with music direction by Sheela Ramesh, and choreography by Allison Paraiso-Silicani. 'The Immigrant,' a heartwarming story inspired by the real experiences of a Russian-Jewish emigrant to the United States, will be performed at George Street Playhouse from March 12 through April 7. Campers are set to explore the world of theatre in fun one-week summer drama day camps run by the Blyth Festival.

It's time to put a reminder on the calendar to visit Unity Theatre for the highly anticipated summer time children's musical, Alice in Wonderland! Lewis Carroll's unflappable young heroine, Alice, takes a tumble down an enchanted rabbit hole to an off-kilter world of mock turtles, dancing flora, punctual rabbits and mad tea parties. Playing cards hold court, and nothing is as it seems in this land where whimsy and wordplay are the order of the day. Playing July 26th - July 29th, this Prince St. Players Musical by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy, is chock full of music and fun and promises to bring smiles to kids of all ages. After the show, everyone has a chance to meet the characters and take photos with the actors, so feel free to come in costume!

Great Lakes Theater will present CAMP THEATER! - a summer drama camp held at Berea-Midpark High School for students ages 4-18.  Students can sign up for one or both weeks of camp, which will run June 12 - 16, and June 19 - 23, 2017.
