Camp Winnarainbow

Camp Winnarainbow is an overnight circus and performing arts camp for children ages 7-14 in the hills of Mendocino County, California, near Laytonville. Founded by Wavy Gravy, the camp lets campers choose daily classes from activities including trapeze, stilt walking, unicycling, juggling, songwriting, dance and clowning, along with swimming in Lake Veronica. Each evening features an all-camp program such as a stage performance, talent show, fire circle or dance party, and one- and two-week sessions each end in an Open House or Big Show for families. Campers sleep in tipis. The camp emphasizes building an inclusive community and, in its founder's words, teaching timing, balance and "survival in the 21st century." A Teen Staff Leadership Program serves youth ages 15-17. The Grace and Joy Scholarship Fund and payment plans make tuition accessible; the camp is ACA accredited.

All 2026 sessions are full; waitlists are available. Registration opened December 2, 2025 and Teen Staff Leadership Program applications opened December 16. Full tuition was due May 1, 2026.
