Camp Laurel

Camp Laurel is a full-season coed sleepaway camp on Echo Lake in Maine's Belgrade Lakes region, welcoming boys and girls roughly ages 7 to 15 for a 6.5-week season. The program is organized around six core areas: athletics, waterfront, tennis, adventure, inter-arts and equestrian, with separate boys' and girls' athletics tracks and camper-directed activity selection. Staff include coaches, educators and college students who help campers develop new interests and skills. The camp maintains a summer office in Readfield, Maine and a winter office in Westport, Connecticut, is accredited by the American Camp Association, and is a member of the Maine Camp Experience. Camp Laurel also operates a four-week sister program, Camp Laurel South. Optional add-ons include equestrian instruction and extended trips for older campers.
