Camp Caribou

Camp Caribou is an overnight camp for boys on a 200-acre peninsula in Winslow, Maine, operating since 1922. The program covers land sports, water sports, a ropes course, wilderness and out-of-camp trips, creative arts and culinary arts, with campers grouped in cabins and supported by a returning staff. Three generations of the Lerman family have run the camp, which is accredited by the American Camp Association and belongs to Maine Summer Camps and the Maine Camp Experience. For 2027 the camp offers a full season from June 25 to August 11 at $17,700, or either of two half sessions (June 25 - July 18 and July 19 - August 11) at $10,950 each, with Visiting Day on July 17. The camp also rents its facilities for weddings, retreats and school groups outside the summer season.
