A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory

A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory offers theater training for students ages 8-19 at American Conservatory Theater's 30 Grant Avenue studios in San Francisco. Classes run in fall, spring and summer sessions and are grouped by age into Juniors (grades 3-5), Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12). Offerings include acting, musical theater, physical comedy, and actors and cabaret ensembles, alongside private coaching, college preparation and audition-based performance opportunities. Classes average 8 to 12 students and are taught by working Bay Area theater artists. No audition or prior experience is required to enroll in classes. Scholarships and financial aid are available by request. The 2026 summer session ran June 8 through August 7, 2026.

Classes average 8-12 students and are grouped as Juniors (grades 3-5), Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12). No audition or prior experience required for classes; performance opportunities are audition-based.
