In this one-night-only concert, come hear from Broadway puppeteers past and present as they share their thoughts about what it’s like to be a puppeteer on Broadway’s biggest stages. You’ll see Broadway puppets you know and love from iconic plays and musicals, and even meet a few more of our felt friends along the way. Bringing your own puppet is not required, but highly recommended for maximum fun! Puppetry on Broadway is a collective of puppeteers, fabricators, and designers working on Broadway, on national tours, and on the West End. Their goal is to keep the art form of theatrical puppetry visible and vibrant by offering engaging content, artistic development/performance opportunities, advocacy, and community events.
