David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Eternity Band celebrates the legacy of jazz legends such as Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, and Duke Ellington. Under the direction of tuba player David Ostwald, this ensemble brings passion and energy to classic jazz compositions. The band features a rotating cast of talented musicians, including clarinetist Anat Cohen and trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, offering a dynamic and engaging experience that has established them as a staple of Birdland's jazz programming for 18 years.
