DETAILS AND ARTIST INFO:
The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street), Times Square's landmark concert venue, will welcome Linda Eder for "An Evening with Linda Eder" on Friday, May 20th at 8:00pm. Considered one of the greatest contemporary voices of our time, she won the Drama Desk award for her leading role as Lucy Harris in "Jekyll & Hyde."

Ms. Eder will be performing songs from her new album, "Now," recently released by SonyMASTERWORKS. She is celebrating her two-decade long recording career. Her diverse repertoire spans Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz. The concert stage remains a mainstay of Eder's career and she has performed for sold-out crowds across the country.

Linda Eder launched her recording career in 1991 with her self-titled debut album and soon established a vital niche as America's most popular and acclaimed new interpreter of pop standards and theatrical songs. She reunited with composer Frank Wildhorn for her new album, "Now," marking the musical return of this legendary team after six years. Eder's transcendent voice is the perfect complement to Wildhorn's lush, imaginative music. The dozen mostly brand-new songs on her new album elevate the spirit while capturing many moods. Following the release of "Now," she'll begin a series of concerts that will take her coast to coast.

"An evening with Linda Eder" is part of The Town Hall's 2011 90th Anniversary season that will also include "Easy to Love: Andrea Marcovicci & Jeff Harnar sing Cole Porter" (June 9), "Broadway By The Year®: Musicals of 1997" (June 20) and "Dee Dee Bridgewater" To Billie with Love a Celebration of 'Lady Day.'" (June 24).
