The 'Broadwaysted' Podcast Welcomes Performer, Director, Broadway Records' Designer Robbie Rozelle
This week the Broadwaysted Crew is thrilled to finally welcome #LegendoftheShow Robbie Rozelle as an official guest!
He's subbed for Kevin, radio-played along with us, and had "Another Round," but now our Cast Album King is a #FriendoftheShow! We're pouring out fancy negronis and some delicious Milagro Tequila and lime as Robbie spills about his upcoming shows at 54 Below (and the LIVE ALBUM they're recording) and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a Broadway cast album!
"What Have You Seen This Week" finds Kevin gushing about "We Are the Tigers" at Theatre 80, Kimberly raving about "Be More Chill" (and the Broadway upgrades), Robbie dishing about the Grammys, and Bryan shouting out Casey Mink's brilliant capturing of Carmen Cusack and Paul Alexander Nolan dueting on "Shallow" at 54 Below.
Kevin takes Robbie to a Goldstar-inspired "Kevin's Corner" AND tags in as Game Master with a Cast Album/Soundtrack "Plot Points" before Kimberly introduces the Apples for Apples style game "Do You Love Me?" with Lights of Broadway Showcards. You know it's always a hoot when Robbie's around, so listen in and be sure to be at his show "Songs From Inside My Locker" February 23rd and March 1st at 9:30pm at 54 Below! Get your tickets at www.goldstar.com/Broadwaysted (under "54 Below Back By Popular Demand!") We'll see ya there!

In 2017, he sold out Feinstein's/54 Below twice with his debut cabaret solo act, "Songs From Inside My Locker", which was nominated for a BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award (in addition to nominations for Best Director).
He returned to Feinstein's/54 Below in 2018 to headline Pride weekend with his new show "Bustin' Out", selling out and earning rave reviews. He will record his debut solo album of "Songs From Inside My Locker" in 2019. He currently serves as the A&R Director and in-house designer for Grammy-winning record label Broadway Records, where he designed the iconic "What the World Needs Now is Love" in response to Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. He also runs Ghostlight Design. When not designing, he can usually be found tweeting jokes and random musings at @divarobbie.
