Tonight Friday January 25 at 10:30PM, "The After Party" is thrilled to welcome back Brandon and Ray! Also, Bret Shuford of The Little Mermaid, Johnny Niagra and Pepper Cole of Cashino and Hole-O-Matic's Karen Mack and Michael Holland.  "The After Party" is hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, featuring Lisa Asher and Ray Fellman at the piano, and held at The Laurie Beechman Theatre inside the West Bank Café (407 West 42nd Street). Admission is free!

A native of Houston, Texas, Bret Shuford is currently appearing in Broadway's The Little Mermaid.  Other Broadway credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Beauty and the Beast.  Bret has performed in many benefit concerts for the Actors Fund, including A Wonderful Life, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and On the Twentieth Century.  On Sunday, January 27 at 9PM, Bret will make his cabaret debut at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. His show will offer an evening of contemporary and Broadway favorites as well as tunes penned by his musical director, Michael Holland. Audiences can expect to hear Shuford's renditions of songs by Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Rufus Wainwright, Rascal Flatts and more. Malcolm Gets is the show's supervisor. Comedienne Susan Mosher of Broadway's Hairspray and recording artist John Boswell star as Johnny Niagra and Pepper Cole in the multimedia musical show that combines film and live performance like never before. Each Cashino opens with one of four different short films (chock full of surprising cameos!) about the lives of two legendary singers and their continuing struggle to become internet entrepreneurs. Johnny and Pepper then entertain audiences in person with a high energy, high strung and emotionally charged live set.  They are well known and loved for seamlessly blending 80's pop/rock with classic show tunes. Their medleys include: "The Queen & I," "Midler On The Roof," and "The Prince & The Poppins."

Often touted as an "anti-cabaret" show, Hole-O-Matic's Karen Mack and Michael Holland have been performing in tandem for the past six years, amassing a list of awards and a loyal fan base that's impressive and enviable. While an emphasis in their long-running "Gashole!" series has always been their love of 70s/80s pop and retro-trivia/musical minutiae, both performers are recognized for their original songwriting and performance, most recently in Michael Holland's '06 Ira Eaker Award from Back Stage for Special Achievement ("outstanding performer/songwriter on the rise"), and an '04 win as OutMusic's Outstanding Songwriter of the Year.
