Strickland & Porter in Broadway Boys' Westport Concert 10/1

The Broadway Boys will be performing a concert in Westport, CT on October 1 to benefit the Staple Players.  Jesse Nager, Josh Strickland, Michael James Scott, Maurice Murphy, Steve Morgan, and Danny Calvert will infuse traditional musical theater repertoire and pop classics with elements of funk, jazz, gospel, and folk. 

Alisan Porter will guest star.  Audiences can expect to hear favorites such as, "Defying Gravity," "Feed the Birds," and "Imagine" as well as new tunes.  A few numbers were written by Broadway Boys Music Director Justin Paul with collaborator Benj Pasek.

The concert occurs October 1 at 7:30PM.  Tickets are $30 (adults) and $20 (students) at Staples High School, (70 North Avenue, Westport, CT).  Tickets can be purchased at: www.staplesplayers.com
