Photo Coverage: Judy Gold & Chipper Lowell - Magic and Comedy Have A Head On Collision
Judy Gold and Chipper Lowell were booked in the same show at Valencia Shores last night and the impact from this comedic evening had the audience laughing hysterically at both their acts till it hurt.
Emmy Award winning Stand Up Comic and actor/writer Judy Gold had magic too. She turned the hundreds of serious and show biz savvy Floridians entering the theater into an uproariously laughing bunch of folks. Judy has had stand-up specials on HBO Comedy Central and has written and starred in two critically acclaimed, Off-Broadway shows. Judy is a regular on Comedy Central's new series, This Week at The Comedy Cellar and has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She's appeared on numerous TV shows and also appears on The View and MSNBC.
Chipper Lowell, very reminiscent of Rip Taylor combined Magic and Comedy, dangerous juggling stunts, ad libs, improvisations and audience participation which kept the crowd hilariously entertained. Although they were a bit nervous as he roamed the theater looking for "willing" participants, anyone who joined in the fun got a fantastic gift..... which Chipper told them they could order on-line. No wonder why he is the top favorite entertainer that Fortune 500 companies hire to energize their special events. Sometimes his tricks didn't work but that's when his comedy really starts to work!
