Jonathan Whitton returns to the Laurie Beechman Theatre on February 15 for a one-night-only musical event.  Whitton will debut an evening of new music in this special evening.  Musical selections come from such pop icons as Carole King, Mandy Moore, Rufus Wainwright, & Robbie Williams, as well as current musical theatre writers John Bucchino, Mark Campbell (Songs from an Unmade Bed), and Sam Carner and Derek Gregor (Unlock'd), amongst others.  The evening is directed by MAC Hanson Award Winner Miles Phillips.  Bistro & MAC Award Winner Steven Ray Watkins serves as Musical Director.

Jonathan Whitton's cabaret debut "Perfect Finite" played sold-out and acclaimed engagements at The Triad, The Duplex, & The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

His recently released debut CD, "Jonathan Whitton: Live at the Laurie Beechman," is currently available at CDBaby.  According to press notes: "Jonathan Whitton's 'Perfect Finite' examines the fine line between beauty and anguish with eloquence and unfathomable wit.  With his sadistic charm and heartbreaking honesty, Whitton takes his audience on a unique and transcendent journey through the universal human experience."  Tamra Stephenson accompanied on piano.

This one-night only event will be held February 15 at 8PM. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Café (407 W. 42nd St. at 9th Avenue).  Tickets are $12 General/$7 MAC Members at www.westbankcafe.com ($15 Food and/or Drink Minimum).  Reservations recommended.
