FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine wil continue its Spring 2010 season with Tony Award-winning actress, Debbie Gravitte on Monday, May 31. To benefit The Actors Fund, Ms. Gravitte will sing highlights from her career on the Broadway stage as well as selections from her latest CD, Defying Gravity including "Mr. Monotony," "I Dreamed a Dream" and "Sing for Your Supper." All admission proceeds will go directly to the assistance of professionals in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition.

Debbie Gravitte - a Tony Award winner and one of Broadway's biggest personalities - has had a varied career that has taken her from the Broadway Stage to the concert stage and beyond. She won the prestigious Tony Award for Jerome Robbins' Broadway, along with a Drama Desk Award Nomination and New York Showstopper Award. After making her Broadway debut in the original
cast of They're Playing Our Song, she went on to appear in: Perfectly Frank (Drama Desk Nomination), Blues in the Night, Ain't Broadway Grand, Zorba, Chicago, and Les Miserables. Debbie has appeared in the Encore's series productions of The Boys From Syracuse, Tenderloin, and Carnival at New York's City Center.

She's performed her critically acclaimed nightclub act worldwide, from New York's Rainbow and Stars, to London's Pizza on the Park, and back home again to Atlantic City, where she's had the honor to perform with Jay Leno, Harry Anderson, and the legendary George Burns
.
A frequent soloist with orchestras, she recently toured with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops and has sung with many of the greats including the National Symphony (with Marvin Hamlish), Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, The NY Pops with the legendary Skitch Henderson, The Atlanta Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Pittsburg Symphony, Utah Symphony, St, Louis, Houston, Dallas and San Diego Symphonies.

On television, Debbie co-starred on the CBS series Trial and Error, was seen on NBC'S Pursuit of Happiness, and has starred in several specials for PBS, including "Live from the Kennedy Center", "The Boston Pops Celebrate Bernstein", "Rodgers and Hart" for Great Performances, and "Ira Gershwin's 100th Birthday Celebration at Carnegie Hall".

Debbie recently released her latest CD: Defying Gravity, follow-up to The MGM Album, and Part of Your World, The Music of Alan Menken. She is currently working on her latest project: Big Band Broadway. Upcoming concerts include Beijing, China with the great Lang Lang as well as a
European tour for 2011. Debbie recently sang with the New York City Ballet in Peter Martin's Thou Swell at Lincoln Center. She appeared with Bette Midler in the Universal Feature, Isn't She Great?, and can be heard as one of the voices in Disney's the Little Mermaid.

THE ACTORS FUND - founded on June 8, 1882 - is a national nonprofit human service organization that provides for the welfare of all entertainment professionals. The Fund helps people in film, theater, television, music, opera, and dance. It assists performers and well as those who work behind the scenes. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Debbie Gravitte on Monday, May 31. The show begins at 8:30 PM. There will be a $40 cover with special $60 premium seats available, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
