FIRST LOOK: MTV to Exclusively Premiere Rihanna's 'Diamonds' Music Video

MTV today announced the exclusive premiere of international singing sensation Rihanna's new music video, "Diamonds," on-air and online on Thursday, November 8 at 6:55 p.m. ET/PT on MTV and MTV.com, including a special introduction from Rihanna herself. The 24-hour exclusive will extend to all of MTV's channels 7:00 p.m. ET when mtvU, MTV Hits, and MTV Jams premiere the music video and put it into regular rotation. Fans around the world will also be able to stream the video online at http://rihanna.mtv.tv. Check out some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage below!

In addition, fans can check out news, videos, photos, bio and more atRihanna.MTV.com, as well as tune in to the U.S. telecast of the 2012 MTV EMA on Sunday, November 11 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2 to see if Rihanna, who leads this year's EMA nominees with seven nods, takes home the prize.

"Diamonds," the fastest-rising single of Rihanna's career to date, is the first song released from her upcoming seventh studio album Unapologetic for Island Def Jam. The album will be released globally on Monday, November 19. With over 94 million in combined radio audience, "Diamonds" has rocketed to #5 on the Hot 100, Rihanna's 23rd Top 10 hit on the chart. "Diamonds" debuted four weeks ago with #1 postings at iTunes in 27 countries, and Top 5 iTunes in 55 countries.
