Superstar Beyonce picked up a total of 8 Moon Men trophies at last night's VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS on MTV. The singer also gave a powerful 15-minute performance, featuring a medley of her hits including "Pray You Catch Me," "Hold Up," "Sorry" and "Don't Hurt Yourself." She closed out the show with a stunning rendition of "Formation." Watch the video!

The 2016 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS aired live last night, Sunday, August 28 at 9/8c. Beyoncé, who came into the awards earning a career-best eleven nominations for videos from her cultural watershed visual album "Lemonade" topped the night's winners. Click here for a full list of winners

Adele earned eight nominations, including seven for her Youtube record-shattering video "Hello." "Hello," Beyoncé's "Formation," Drake's "Hotline Bling," Justin Bieber's "Sorry" and Kanye West's "Famous" all earned nominations for "Video of the Year."

Fans voted for their favorites in VMA categories including, "Video of The Year," "Best Male Video," "Best Female Video," new category, "Breakthrough Long Form Video" and more by visiting vma.mtv.com. Additionally, voting for the "Best New Artist" award, presented by Taco Bell®, remained live through the 2016 "MTV Video Music Awards" Pre-Show airing at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and new this year, fans were able to cast their votes for the category via Facebook Messenger The top two artists were revealed during the pre-show, kicking off a live hashtag vote with the winner being announced during the live main telecast.
