Sarah Paulson stopped by this morning's TODAY on NBC to dish on the highly anticipated new season of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY, premiering this Wednesday, October 8th. The actress insists she wasn't a scary person until she began filming the series. Check out the appearance below!

Paulson made her Broadway debut in 2005 in The Glass Menagerie. Her other theater credits include Collected Stories and off-Broadway's Talley's Folly. Her TV credits include Game Change, American Horror Story, Down With Love, Jack & Jill and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
