VIDEO: New Promo for SMASH's 'The Transfer,' Airing 5/11

Below, get a first look at the May 11th episode of NBC's SMASH titled "The Transfer". In the episode, with his sights set on the Tony, Tom (Christian Borle) pulls out all the stops at a Houston & Levitt tribute night, but can Julia (Debra Messing) turn away from "Hit List" long enough to help? Ivy (Megan Hilty) is afraid of damaging her reputation when Tom asks her to perform a risqué number. The cast of "Hit List" is rocked by a betrayal close to home.
The episode, airing 9-10 p.m. ET, will see the return of series guest stars Daphne Rubin-Vega and Leslie Odom, Jr.
In Season 2, the "Bombshell" team is one step closer to achieving their Broadway dream. The Boston run was the success the team was hoping for, including producer Eileen Rand (Academy Award winner Anjelica Huston, "Prizzi's Honor"), writers Tom Levitt (Tony Award winner Christian Borle, "Peter and the Starcatcher") and Julia Houston (Emmy Award winner Debra Messing, "Will & Grace"), last-minute star Karen Cartwright (Katharine McPhee, "American Idol") and director Derek Wills (Jack Davenport, "Pirates of the Caribbean"). But, they are all about to learn even a charmed show cannot avoid paying for sins of the past.
