On last night's LATE NIGHT on NBC, Jimmy Fallon spent a considerable portion of his monologue gushing about his new baby daughter, Winnie Rose, born this week. The host began the show saying "Welcome to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I'm your host, 'Da-Da.'

He went on to share his excitement by revealing details of his new bundle of joy. "Her name is Winnie Rose Fallon, and she's so cute. She's five pounds, nine ounces." Check out the clip below!

Named "the most enjoyable late-night show" by the New York Times, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" has become the go-to destination for comedy, music and A-list talent. Emmy and Grammy Award winnerJimmy Fallon brings a fun new energy to the NBC comedy-talk franchise with his personalized interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations and innovative sketches. The show consistently garners attention for viral videos, audience games and prominent guests such as Tom Cruise,Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Gwyneth Paltrow and Justin Timberlake. Fallon's choice of house band, Grammy Award winners The Roots, has been universally praised.


In just four years on the air, Fallon and the "Late Night" team have already begun collecting awards. Most recently, Fallon was honored with his second consecutive People's Choice Award for Favorite Late Night Host (2012 and 2013) and the show received the 2012 Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Talk Show. Also in 2012, "Late Night" was celebrated with an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Series. "Blow Your Pants Off," featuring song parodies written and performed on "Late Night," won the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

The show earned three Emmy nominations in 2011, including its first nominations in the series and writing categories. In 2010, the show won its second consecutive Emmy for its website, latenightwithjimmyfallon.com, as well as an Emmy for Short-Form Editing for the "Glee" parody "6-Bee." "Late Night's" website also earned a 2009 Webby Award and the same year, Fallon himself received the "Webby Person of the Year" Award.
