Faris is best known for her starring role in the Scary Movie film series, as well as roles in Lost in Translation, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Dictator, Yogi Bear, and The House Bunny. She currently stars in the CBS sitcom Mom, opposite Allison Janney.
