International rising superstar Tom Hiddleston headlines Shakespeare's CORIOLANUS in the West End later this Fall, but, first, he took some time off from battling superheroes and studying the Bard to appear in a new clip for SESAME STREET featuring none other than one of the classic children's series most popular residents, Cookie Monster.

"Maybe this can be an exercise in delayed gratification," Hiddleston posits to the voracious blue furball in deciding whether or not to share his chocolate-chip cookie with his onscreen companion, thereby offering a valuable life lesson about patience in the process.

On second thought, "It's a long word - probably too long for cookies!" Hiddleston says as the increasingly agitated Cookie Monster protests.

Then, the wait really sets in as the anticipation leading up to the big first bite builds - and builds!

Afterwards: "Didn't it taste better for waiting?" Hiddleston says with a smile as he devours his baked delight, astride a rapturous and satiated Cookie Monster.
