The CW has announced Wednesday that the longest-running series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will wrap up its run on December 4th. Executive produced and starring Tyra Banks, the show debuted in 2003 on UPN and has continued to run through 22 cycles. It marked the first show to be broadcast on The CW following the merger of UPN and The WB.

Commented CW president Mark Pedowitz in a statement, "'America's Next Top Model' was a successful franchise for two networks, first at UPN and then The CW, and it became not just a ratings hit, but a global pop culture phenomenon. I want to thank Tyra and [exe producer Ken Mok] for all their years of success in establishing a show that was not just popular in the U.S., but all across the world."

On AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, hosted by Tyra Banks, model hopefuls compete for a career-launching prize package that includes prizes and a cash bonus.
