TRUE BLOOD's Aisha Hinds is set to head UNDER THE DOME.

Best known for her role as the psychic Miss Jeannette on the HBO hit series, the actress officially signed on for CBS' adaptation of Stephen King's hit mega-novel, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Hinds is set to play 'Carolyn Hill' "an L.A. entertainment attorney trapped in Chester's Mill while driving through town with her partner and their daughter on the way to deliver their teen to a camp for troubled youth," the site reports.

The actress can next be seen on The CW's midseason drama, CULT.

Hinds joins Britt Robertson, Natalie Martinez, Colin Ford, Alex Koch, Jolene Purdy and Nicholas Strong as a regular.

The series, based on the novel by Stephen King, tells the tale of "residents in the Community as they deal with the postapocalyptic conditions while searching for answers as to what the barrier is, where it came from and when -- and if -- it will go away." Joe soon learns that he has been separated from his parents who are on the other side of the dome.

Under the Dome will be produced by CBS Television Studios along with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television. Neal Baer (A GIFTED MAN, LAW & ORDER: SVU), King, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Stacey Snider and Brian K. Vaughan (Y: THE LAST MAN, LOST) will serve as executive producers. Niels Arden Oplev, the director of the original THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATOO, will helm the first episode.

UNDER THE DOME will premiere on Monday, June 24 at 10 p.m.
