THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, daytime's #1 drama, celebrates its upcoming 40th anniversary with special on-air videos featuring 13 cast members reflecting on their time with the iconic show. These poignant three-minute videos will air at the beginning of episodes airing Monday, March 11 - Friday, March 29, and will also be posted to Y&R's 40th Anniversary site at www.cbs.com/yr40th. Sixteen additional exclusive videos highlighting more cast members started posting in late February.

The actors participating in the on-air videos include Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), ShaRon Case (Sharon Newman), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Billy Miller (Billy Abbott), Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), Michael Muhney (Adam Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) and Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters).

Viewers will be treated to a rare look behind the scenes as the actors give special insight into their characters. Each actor reveals their favorite storylines and recalls classic Y&R moments through the use of interviews, video clips and some never-before-seen photographs.

THE YOUNG AND THE Restless has been the #1-rated daytime drama for more than 24 years. The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
