For the week of September 9-13, NBC's "Today" posted a 1.7 rating in the key demo A25-54 tying with GMA. This was "Today's" best delivery in the demo since the week of May 20, 2013. "Today" has narrowed the demo gap with GMA for the fifth straight week, which is the closest margin to GMA since the week of July 8, 2013. Year over year, "Today" grew +15% in the key demo, more than any other morning program.
In total viewers, "Today" also posted its best delivery since the week of May 20, 2013 and grew +8% year over year. TODAY Highlights- TODAY tied for #1 in the key demo A25-54 rating, posting its best delivery (1.7) since week of 5/20/2013
- TODAY narrowed the demo gap for 5th straight week; closest margin to GMA since the week of 7/8/2013 when TODAY won by +44,000
- TODAY's share of demo audience rose to 40% (highest since week of 7/8/2013)
- TODAY's delivery grew for 5th straight week; TODAY had its highest total viewer deliveries since the week of 5/20/2013 - Year over Year, TODAY grew +8% in total viewers and +15% in the key demo (more than any other morning program).
