Swift Aero Aerial Systems Announces Company Milestone

Swift Aero Aerial Systems (Swift Aero), an aerial service provider specializing in cinematography, broadcasting, mapping, photography and surveying services, has received permission by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in key airport traffic areas and controlled airspace, Class Bravo airspace, in and around Las Vegas. This is known as FAA Waiver Part 107.41.

Swift Aero has applied for other waivers still pending which include FAA Waiver 107.29 which would allow UAS to fly at night and during closed set filming. FAA Waiver 107.39, which presently only two companies in the U.S. have, that gives permission to fly UAS over people. FAA Waiver 107.25 which would allow flying from a moving vehicle or aircraft - not in a sparsely populated area. FAA Waiver 107.31, flying BEYOND the pilot's visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) and FAA Waiver 107.51B, flying above 400 feet when necessary.
